Learn More

The Massachusetts Communication and Awareness around Recovery and Employer Support program (Mass C.A.R.E.S.) was created in response to a report issued from the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation last year that highlighted the significant economic and fiscal impact the opioid crisis is having on the Commonwealth. The report, The Opioid Epidemic: An issue of Substance, made it clear that employers play a critical role in a solution to this crisis. Mass. C.A.R.E.S. will provide participating employers with information, tools and support they may need to get involved.

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The COVID-19 or coronavirus pandemic is causing all of us angst during this unsettling time. For those in recovery, this period of social distance and isolation can be even more trying. Although there are restrictions on large gatherings, people in recovery do not have to face their issues alone. Please find to the right  a list of resources that can be accessed remotely and provide the counseling, care and information needed.
